Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Sample desktop software, website, and related services. By creating an account, purchasing, downloading, or using Sample, you agree to these Terms.

Last updated: April 20, 2026

1. Eligibility and account use

You must be legally able to enter a binding agreement in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account.

2. License grant

Subject to these Terms and a valid purchase entitlement, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Sample for your own production workflow.

3. Purchases, billing, and access

Sample is sold as a one-time purchase unless explicitly stated otherwise at checkout. Payments, receipts, and billing updates are processed through our payment provider.

4. Device activation and technical requirements

Sample enforces activation and validation controls tied to your account and device. Internet access is required for activation and updates. Offline operation may be available for limited periods based on current license policy.

5. Your content and local files

You retain ownership of your audio files and creative works. Sample analyzes your local files to provide search and organization features. You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to any content you use with the software.

6. Restrictions

7. Updates and third-party services

Sample may include updates, patches, and security fixes. Some functions depend on third-party services (for example, authentication, hosting, and payments). Their terms may apply to those services.

8. Privacy

Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated, if required by law, or for fraud, abuse, charge disputes, or security risk. You may stop using the software at any time.

10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sample is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or business opportunity arising from use of the software.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
